This was my first stay at the Bank Lodge. I knew it was going to be basic accommodation, but I was pleasantly surprised how good it actually was; in a central location too. Firstly we had arrived early in Fort William and the Lodge let us store our bags with them until we could get in our room. We had booked a twin room with a private shower/toilet and found that this was opposite our room across the corridor. As it happened this was not a problem at all and the Toilet and Shower room was quite spacious, with complimentary shower gel and was very good to use. The room was as expected, but it was fine for what we wanted and we had complimentary Tea/Coffee making facilities. I would point out that our room had a Smart TV and previous guests had left their details logged in to the various streaming sites. Be aware! The Lodge staff were very friendly and helpful and we would certainly return here when we come back to Scotland. The lodge doesn't do breakfast but there are plenty of places in Fort William where you can pick up something (the station cafe was our favourite). We found that the room was quite warm in the evenings and the Window only slanted open a little. Then on the last day we found that doing the handle a different way completely opened it!

Very nice and clean space in a great location. The room was warm, the shower was good, checking in with no problem. A bit noise from the traffic outside but noting too bad.

The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. There was tea, coffee, milk, cookies, and a kettle with cups in the room. The parking opposite the hotel is free from 6 pm until 8 am, which was very convenient. There are shops and a McDonald’s nearby. We stayed for one night as a stop to rest during our trip. The hotel is a bit old, and the stairs in the corridor creaked, but overall it was a good place for a short stay.

Simple and affordable rooms for a night at Fort Williams. We had a twin room with a private bathroom across the corridor. took a while to get used to but it was okay. Parking space might be an issue for bigger vehicles but it was good for me. High street really close by too.

Great location just off the Main Street. Super clean rooms and friendly service. There’s limited parking on site but the neighbouring pay and display was free overnight. We liked it so much wanted to stay a third night but unsurprisingly the place was booked.

Good value for money. Excellent service from staff. The car park was adequate for most, but as I had a high load the entrance was too low, however the car park opposite allows free parking overnight and paying £3 at 5:30pm took me through to 11:30am (by which time I was gone) . The rooms were clean, adequate tea, coffee and milk, but would have liked 2 hand towels for the 2 of us. The beds were comfortable. The wifi good.
